Job Description

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

The Assistant Operations Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our new retail club. You will aid in coordinating staff, managing inventory, and creating an inviting atmosphere that aligns with our company's educational philosophy and mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day retail club operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Support the Operations Manager in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.
  • Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining records of purchase orders and invoices.
  • Aid in scheduling and coordinating staff, including training new employees.
  • Maintain an organized and clean environment in the retail club.
  • Assist in creating engaging displays and layouts to attract customers and promote our educational products.
  • Support in managing and addressing customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Coordinate with the team to plan and host promotional events or activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of operational reports and schedules to ensure efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of experience in operations focused roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Early Childhood Education, or related field.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a team-player mentality.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Passionate about early childhood education and customer service.
  • Previous experience in retail or education is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full Time - 5 days (4 weekdays and 1 weekend) or 6 days (incl. min. 1 weekend).

Working hours: Weekday - 10am - 7pm, Weekends - 9am - 7pm

Full Time from S$2,800 up to S$3,500
